100% Welschriesling, with endless tension. The grapes are destemmed and fermented on the skins for about 4 weeks. After that, this wine matures for 1 – 1.5 years in a clay amphora and wooden cask. On the nose, you’ll find notes of almonds, damp earth, orange zest, and herbs. On the palate, flavors of fennel, red bell pepper, tea, and celery take the forefront. It presents itself taut, with a tight texture, fruity acidity, and a long-lasting, spicy finish.
