Explosive, deep, moving! 100% Sauvignon Blanc grapes from our vineyard ‘Kirschkapelle’ on Flamberg. The grapes are destemmed and fermented on the skins for about 4 weeks. After that, this wine matures for 1 – 1.5 years in a clay amphora and wooden cask. The nose is very aromatic and fresh. Mountain herbs, hay, dried chamomile, and cumin accompany a delicate fruitiness of quince and grapefruit peels. On the palate, fine herbal flavors like anise and roasted sesame dominate. Delicate and grippy tannin, intense, long, and incredibly refreshing, with a very fine curry leaf on the tongue.
