Harkamp Solera IV Reserve - BIO, Demeter

Description

In this special sparkling wine, each new vintage is blended in a large wooden cask with wines from the preceding vintages. In our SOLERA IV Reserve, four vintages of each grape variety have already been vinified and sparkling wine produced. This creates a multi-layered product with spicy smokiness and complex fruit, making it unique in Styria. Dense and elegant on the nose, with aromas of yellow apple, ripe pear, quince, hazelnut, marzipan, and a hint of cranberry. All of this hovers over a deep, serene fruit core that imparts density and intensity. On the palate, it is harmonious and characteristically individual. Austerity and complexity coexist, exhibiting tightness and finesse. Well-integrated acidity provides freshness, leading to a long finish with a lingering citrus note.
